Sometimes the unexpected happen

Did you ever go to a meeting thinking good thinks could come from the meeting, but in most cases they don’t? That is normal. If your’ in sales, you might have to make 50 calls before you get an order.

Will today I went to this meeting of business people that were motivated to get some things going. Everyone want to see how they could help each other. What I great feeling.

When I left the room I had several serious conversations with people that want me to help them. I didn’t have to do anything but answer their question and give them some follow up.

The minute I got to my office I followed with each person. It didn’t take long I started to get responses. Not bad for a couple hours of meeting people.

The unexpected thing is that I only knew just few people at the meeting. When you have people that want to help others is amazing what energy starts to build.

After everyone had their say, people started saying how happy they were with some ones service that was at the meeting. You couldn’t pay for that type of positive endorsement.
You bet I’ll be at the next luncheon and you know what I am going to see how many at the luncheon that I can help.

The old saying is giving and receiving it a cycle so it important that keep the cycle going. I am going to do I can not only to those that are part of this group, but any and everyone
.
I will not expect anything but it interesting how many times the unexpected happens.

It is time to make it happen

How many times have you told yourself “I’ll start next week” and then next week comes and goes and you still haven’t started. This is not good. What it is really saying, you are not committed to this goal or project.

If that is the case go back in re-evaluate what you really want out of life and the goals you have chosen are the ones that will get you there. Let’s put it another way, maybe you didn’t do enough homework in choosing you goals. If that is the case take a deep breath and start over
.
Things change in our lives and at times we don’t even know it. That is why it is good to regularly review your mission statement, goals and objects and of course you action plan. This will keep you on course.

When you do these things you can constantly stay on of making things happen. That is a very satisfying feeling to know you are going where you want to go and doing the things that will assure you will achieve you goals and objects.

Dong these things are important, but remember to be flexible. Things will change in your life, like new opportunities. When you get to fixated on where you want to go you can miss things that can lead you to even better things.

If you do this you will make many positive things happen in your life and they will happen without a lot of effort. That is because you are working with the powers of the universe. When you don’t fight it is amazing what can get done.

Stay on track, but don’t get stuck in a rut. Keep your mind open to all possibilities and you will find you will make things happen.

Be healthy be happy

Have you noticed happy people are generally healthy? Even if their sick they always are in good spirits. One things I they laugh and laugh and laugh some more.

Now for the good part about why you should laugh. Laughter strengthens our immune systems and helps us recover from illness, as well as brings joy into our lives. Now, that’s pretty powerful stuff. And, that is just the beginning.

A good, hearty laugh can help:
• Reduce stress
• Lower blood pressure
• Elevate mood
• Boost immune system
• Improve brain functioning
• Protect the heart
• Connect you to others
• Foster instant relaxation
• Make you feel good

Now we are getting somewhere, but we are not finished by a long shot.
Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases infection-fighting antibodies. It increases our attentiveness, heart rate, and pulse.

That’s good to know. But there is more.

Laughter can be a great workout for your diaphragm, abdominal, respiratory, facial, leg, and back muscles. It massages abdominal organs, tones intestinal functioning, and strengthens the muscles that hold the abdominal organs in place. Not only does laughter give your midsection a workout, it can benefit digestion and absorption functioning as well. It is estimated that hearty laughter can burn calories equivalent to several minutes on the rowing machine or the exercise bike (and you know how much I love the bike).

If you want your brain stimulated, laugh, because laughing enhances learning. If you want to release muscle tension, laugh. If you are psychologically stressed, laugh. Laughter keeps the brain alert. If you want to retain more information, laugh.
Now we are getting somewhere. Are you ready for more? Well, here we go.

Rather than get upset when things are not going your way, laugh. Laughing helps you, and also the people around you, feel better. If you need to release pent-up feelings of frustration and/or anger, laugh. Laughter is a socially acceptable way to it. When you laugh, you reduce tension, which can be very relaxing.

Are you starting to become a believer? I sure hope so! But, there is still more.
To minimize a situation that is causing you anxiety, visualize a humorous situation.
Laughter helps to bind us together. When we laugh together it helps us become closer to one another. Laughter is better enjoyed when it is shared with others.

If you want to be healed, laugh. Doctors are giving more patients laugh therapy to reduce stress.

We have only touched on laughter as a part of being happy. There is so much more how happiness is good for you and I’ll touch on that later. So for now have a laugh on me and improve your health.

Improve everyday

If we improve our self a little every day in a year we can make some fantastic improvements. Here is what I am going to work at big time this year. When I am driving I judge others driver’s bad driving skills and I am not very pleasant about it at times.

One thing my driving judging does is it upset Micki, my wife. Who wants your spouse upset with you, I don’t. Second it such a waste of energy. Do you think the person that’s driving poorly really knows they are upsetting you, I don’t think so.
Judging is the constant evaluation of things as right or wrong, good or bad. When your’ constantly evaluating, classifying, labeling, analyzing, you create a lot of turbulence in side you. This turbulence constricts the flow of energy within you and limits your pure potentiality.

How am I going to stop not judging when I am driving? One is to constantly remind myself to not judge other drivers. Two I wear a rubber band on my wrist and every time I judge another driver I going to snap it. This sound a lot like Pavlov dog training and it is.

Shortly I am going to test my not judging will driving. It is my sincere hope that this will be the year of no judging for me. Look at the advantage for me. Micki will be much happier, I won’t be wasting as much energy and I’ll reduce my inner turbulence.

I will do this by working on it every day, thus every day I’ll get better and better. By the end of the year I will have won the battle of judging other driver. Then I can work on just not judging anyone.

In with the new

Out with the old; get those things that you didn’t like out of your mind. Let’s look at it realistically, what has happened, no matter how much you want to change them you can’t. Wasting energy trying is only a waste of effort, so save that energy for things you can make an impact on.

Take this first day of 2011 and think about the things you want to do. Make sure they fit with your personal mission. Oh, you don’t have one; will maybe it is time to develop a personal mission statement for yourself. What it does for you is gives you a system to keep you on track.

Here is something I do at the first of the year and it is still winter I think of the first of the year as spring. I can hear the birds with their wonderful songs; see the flowers blooming in all their many colors, watch the grass turning that wonder green and the leaves budding on all the trees. What I see is the return of life, so it is time for my personal rebirth.

Do things that are important to you betters and do them better every day. By doing things a little better every day just think of how much you will improve by the end of 2011. You will be amazed of your progress.

Plan this year to take time to be thankful for what has been given to you and take time to help others reach their goals. By helping other you will find many of the secrets that will help you achieve your own goals.

In with the new and don’t look back. Keep focused on your goals for 2011. Do the things that will get you there and you will have an amazing 2011.

Why I am a Happiness expert?

To me is very simple, I love being happy. I loved being happy so much I started studying happiness. That prompted me to write my first book “Happiness in 8 Steps”. It is book everyone should read. It is book that takes you on the journey on how to improve happiness in your life.

Many of those that have read “Happiness in 8 Steps” have told me it has so many things that they knew, but didn’t practice in their everyday living.
Here are the 8 steps and you can decide.

One is to smile, everyone likes a smile. Two is to show gratitude everyone likes a thank you. Three giving, when you give of yourself you are truly giving. Four is being healthy, being healthy makes life more fulfilling. Five is stay in shape that helps with having good health. Six is being around people you love that make life worth living. Seven laugh, laughing does so many good things you and others. Eight live your life in the present, that past is the past and you can’t change it and future is but to come.

There is a lot more to happiness and that is what I have found out in my studies. Being grump is not being happy I and wrote a book on the “ Dump the Grump” it will be in print early January.

Happiness builds health is something else I found in my studies. Part of building your personal health is to understand you self and others. Why is that important, because by better understanding you self and others you greatly reduce your personal stress. Stress is hard on you immune systems. When your immune systems aren’t working will it is easier to get sick.

I became an expert on happiness because I saw such a need for people to raise their level of happiness and by doing that they can improve the quality of their life.
