Gain Wealth through Understanding Part 2 ”the influencer”




Understanding people can help you advance your goals. So here are some more information on better understand people’s behavior styles. We talked about the dominate style. Now we will look at the second style which is the influencer.
The influencer is enthusiastic, trusting, charming, popular, gregarious, influential, confident, open minded, and persuasive. If that is not enough they are affable, convincing, inspiring, impulsive, sociable, effusive and talkative.

This behavior style is one that values trust. This can be to the point of a determent. Influencers love to interact and need to be liked. They also want to be involved in just about everything. They also wear their emotions on the sleeves, so you will know where the stand.

If you have an influencer on you team you can count on him or her to be optimistic and enthusiastic, which can help you and your team reach your goals. They are also very good at creative problem solving. They like and are good at motivating others toward goals. When things get a little tough they have a positive sense of humor that can help release tension.

When there is conflict they are good at negotiating a good resolution to the problem. Lastly they are excellent at expressing ideas and can be a great help in letting others know about what you teams is doing.

What you don’t want to do to an influencer. Don’t legislate of muffle them, don’t be curt, cold or tight-lipped, don’t drive facts, and don’t be impersonal. Don’t cut the meeting short or be too businesslike or you will turn them off. If you don’t do these things you have a much easier time getting along and working with an influencer.

Here are some things the influencer wants. An environment free from control and data, they want popularity and social recognition, just look at the plaques and trophies in their office. They want people to talk to, they are talkers you know. They also like group activity outside of work. Yes they do want monetary rewards.
This should give you a good picture of an influencer. They can be a very important part of your team. By playing to their strengths they can help you achieve your goals of wealth.
