There is more why being is happy is good for you

In a recent study by Dr. Karina Davidson of Columbia University Medical center states “If you aren’t naturally a happy person, just try to act like one. It could help your heart.”

Dr. Davidson speculated that several factors may combine to produce the heart –protective outcome of being happier. Happier people tend to sleep better and practice more heart-healthy behaviors.

She also said, “They may also be physiologically different than those of who are unhappy.”

Happy people tend to have less stress in their lives and handle the stress they have better than less happy people.

Dr. Davidson study is not a short study with a few people over a short period of time. The study was for 10 years on 1739 men and women. The study showed that the happier someone was the less likely he or she was to develop heart disease. In fact, for everyone on the five-point scale that measure positive effect, the risk of heart disease dropped 22 percent.

There is so much more on how by being happy is good for you, but I’ll go over that at a later date.

Let’s change tack and look at when your’ happy you attract people. Don’t you want to be around happy people? I sure do. Yes I have my serious moments and that as it should be, but you are not going to see me with be frown on my face and feeling sorry for myself. For sure I am not asking people to feel sorry for me.

Having loved ones and friends is a great health builder. All you have to do is look around you. Look at those that have had long term relationship and I’ll bet you see those that they are content and happy with life. You see their happiness in their smile and how they care about others.

So be happy and not only have a wonderful life but a healthy one.

Happiness with wealth to you
